Talk about an impressive list of names on a resume, take a look at some of the coaches that Cal State Fullerton’s Rick Vanderhook has work with over the years — Augie Garrido, John Savage, George Horton, and Dave Serrano, just to name a few. That’s a Who’s Who of West Coast coaching. Coach Vanderhook has spent 26 seasons with Cal State Fullerton as a player, assistant coach, and now, for the last two seasons, head coach. That’s quite a tradition there in Orange County. Having spent all that time as an assistant coach, Coach Vanderhook knows what’s expected of him.
