Nice guys do finish first. At least that’s the case with Arizona’s Andy Lopez. Coach Lopez has two College World Series rings, over 1100 wins, and several Coach of the Year awards, but his passion is for God, family, baseball, and turning out good young men. In that, he’s accomplished almost everything he’s dreamed of. In this episode of Top Coach, Coach Lopez recounts his days playing wiffle ball and Over the Line with Gary Maddox in the sandlots and parks of San Pedro, California and what a little fatherly advice at the right time meant to his career and his life.
