Darren Fenster took a route to where he is today not unlike most of our previous coaches. He grew up in the Northeast, playing multiple sports and went on to star at Rutgers, taking home All-American honors two times. After an injury cut short his Major League aspirations, it was Rutgers that gave him a place to hang his baseball cap. He’s back in the professional ranks now with the Boston Red Sox organization and he has many lessons to share with the coaching community.
