We veer just a bit off of our traditional path today to talk to Adam Rosales of the San Diego Padres. Adam will give us some great insight into what he learned from his coaches and other important people in his life that helped to propel him to Major League Baseball. Adam also discusses some of the projects that he’s working on now himself as he looks to help pay it forward to the next generation.
In this episode, Adam talks about the advice he received from his father, how good coaches listen, what coaches do to inspire, getting back in touch with his “Little League self” (remembering why he plays baseball), and how he looks to make a difference. One thing in particular that coaches should pay attention to is that Adam cites his father as being his best baseball coach, despite not having a background in baseball.
