Here’s a guy who knew early on that he wanted to coach, so at one point while playing college baseball, Brian McGee stopped playing summer ball and started coaching. Coach McGee got his degree in Sports Administration, but knew the only sport he wanted to administer was baseball. After school he beat the bushes to find a place to land. After moving around a bit, today he’s on the shores of Lake Erie in northern Ohio at NCAA D2 Lake Erie College.
Coach McGee explains why he has the dual title of head coach and recruiting coordinator. He also talks about what he looks for in a good recruiter.
