TC138: Tony Robichaux, Louisiana Lafayette

Been waiting for this day for a long time. Louisiana-Lafayette‘s Tony Robichaux has been on our radar and we finally got him to take a little time out to talk about Cajun Baseball. And it was worth the wait. What do we love here at Top Coach? PASSION, of course. And Coach Robichaux has it in truck loads.

Louisiana Lafayette is not in what you would call a power conference, but they’re definitely not one of those teams you want to see on the board when they’re announcing teams in your Regional. Coach Robichaux has instilled a style of play that he calls “The Cajun Way” and his players respond every year. Here’s just a taste of his down home wisdom: Coach Robichaux says, “Ego stands for Edging God Out.”

Part 2 of our interview with Coach Robichaux can be found here.
