Top Coach 105: Greg Lovelady, Wright State

Today’s guest was an assistant coach for former guest, Rob Cooper. After Coach Cooper moved to Pennsylvania and the Big Ten at Penn State University, Wright State University promoted from within, bringing up assistant Greg Lovelady to take the reins of the solid program in Dayton, Ohio for the 2013-14 season.

Lovelady is a native of south Florida and was able to walk on at the storied Miami (FL) program and Coach Jim Morris (also a former guest). He was so highly thought of by fans that he was voted most popular player on the Hurricanes one season. He has had the incredible good fortune of being able to visit Omaha and the College World Series five times as a player and coach.
