Tony Wolfe‘s coaching career got cranked up a little later than some, but he sure has made up for lost time. Not only has he guided his Buford, Georgia high school team to an incredible amount of success — including a state title — but he decided to take on a new challenge eight years ago and fill the girls’ softball coaching vacancy. Coach Wolfe has managed in those eight years to win EIGHT state titles! Yes, you read that right.
What you’re going to find compelling in this interview, however, is not the success that Coach Wolfe has had on the field, but the genuine devotion that he has for the young people that he’s interacted with for all of these years. As Coach Wolfe says, he believes that God has put him here a greater purpose than winning games.
