
Dani Busboom Kelly comes from the volleyball hotbed of Nebraska, where she grew up loving all sports, but especially volleyball at the University of Nebraska. She eventually followed her dream to Lincoln where she starred for the Huskers and got her start in coaching. Since 2016 she’s ben the head coach at Louisville, leading the Cardinals to unprecedented heights.
In this episode, Coach Busboom Kelly talks about why volleyball is important, the city of Louisville, expectations and support, growing up in small town Nebraska, lessons learned from playing multiple sports, her college career at Nebraska, deciding on a career path, learning coaching, landing the position at Louisville, recruiting and the transfer portal, club volleyball, her coaching style, women in coaching, her staff, the first two hours of the day, the culture, advice to potential coaches, and her family.
