Doug Schreiber is a long time friend of the Top Coach Podcast and one of our original guests from all the way back in 2013. Back then he was the very successful coach of the Purdue Boilermakers. Now he’s heading up the program at Purdue-Fort Wayne in Indiana’s second largest city.
In this episode, Coach Schreiber talks about the school and athletics program at Purdue-Fort Wayne, his career to this point, his two year stint in high school coaching, lessons learned in high school, multi-sport athletes in Indiana, transfers and JUCO players in his program, the differences in a Big 10 and non-Big 10 program, staffing, his biggest challenges, and facilities.
