The ABCA and now USA Baseball — two organizations looking to help promote the game of baseball and educate its coaches. Andrew Bartman‘s mission is to educate and he did that well for the past several years at the ABCA. Now he’s moved just down the road in North Carolina to USA Baseball, hoping to continue in his mission to make better coaches.
In this episode, Andrew talks about growing up in Central Illinois, attending Lincoln College and MacMurray College, his coaching path, understanding how coach hiring works, references, clinics, his work at the ABCA, youth baseball, his move to USA Baseball, education, and certification programs.
