Eastern Mennonite University is a beautiful little school, nestled right up next to the much larger James Madison University and the beautiful Shenendoah National Park, in Harrisonburg, Virginia. We’ve had the chance to talk with former coach Ben Spotts (who recently took a position at his alma mater, Bridgewater College), but this time we’re talking to former player, long time assistant coach, and the new head coach for EMU, Adam Posey.
In this episode, we’ll be talking about EMU’s great location, practice tempo, former coach Ben Spotts, preparing an assistant coach to come a head coach, two-way players, building a tradition, building trust, the most difficult aspect of his job, assembling a staff, leaning on fellow coaches for recommendations, and getting married amidst everything else going on in life.
