Kevin McMullan is a hard-nosed former football player and wrestler from New Jersey who has parlayed his love for the thinking side of baseball into a great coaching career. Widely regarded as the top assistant coach in college baseball, McMullan has not found reason enough yet to leave Charlottesville, although that move appears to be inevitable. In this episode of Top Coach, Coach McMullan talks about paying dues, forming bonds, and recruiting northern players.

This was a great interview. Kevin and the University of Virginia are very lucky to have found each other. As a lifelong friend of Kevin’s, I am so proud of his accomplishments as a player and a coach, but Kevin’s true success is as a husband and parent.
Kevin works harder than anyone I know, although with his love and passion for the game he hasn’t worked a day in his life.
Awesome coach and a great eye for talent 🙂
Coach Mac gives the guys life lessons as well as a foundation of great fundamentals to build on with hard work that he stresses daily.
Kevin is an insiration to his family. We are soooo proud of him.
