What started out as a college exchange trip for Tom Gillespie has turned into a globe trotting baseball adventure. Doing some work with Major League Baseball and the Pittsburgh Pirates filled most of his time in Europe, but for the last year, his attention has turned to Play Global, a non-profit organization that aims to use baseball as a way to teach life skills in third world countries and conflict areas.
